Avery Excavation will be replacing a cement culvert on lower Quimby Mountain Road Wednesday, October 12 – Friday, October 15.  The stream crossing and culvert is located below the intersection of Morrill Hill Road and Quimby Mountain Road.  Please watch for road closure signs beginning tomorrow.

Construction staging will begin Tuesday, October 12.  Wednesday – Friday, October 13 – 15 the road will be completely CLOSED and impassable.

Residents on Morrill Hill Road and Quimby Mountain Road E911 numbers #492 and higher should access your residences via Carpenter Road or Mitchell Brook Road (from Beaver Meadow Road in Norwich) during this closure.

Residents with E911 numbers lower than #492, including residents on Mountain Avenue, will be able to access your residences from Rte. 14 during the closure.
